Bush Hammering
With the latest Bush Hammering methods and techniques we can create an anti-slip surface that is both aesthetically pleasing and long lasting. Bush Hammering is not a surface coating, it is a method of grinding concrete in such a way to create a textured finish into the top of the concrete itself. This can be achieved with specialised grinding attachments that can be fitted onto our commercial grinding equipment.
Textured concrete options for new or existing surfaces
Bush Hammering allows us to provide a textured finish to suit many different types of situations and environments.
It’s a practical option for new and old concrete i.e. driveways, walkways, stairways, decks, pool surrounds you name it… Bush Hammering has become the most outstanding alternative to exposed aggregate concrete on the market today. Both can provide a nice smooth wet appearance but the advantage of Bush Hammering is it provides a more slip resistant finish. A good quality sealer is always recommended to help protect the concrete and provide a longer lasting finish.

What is Bush Hammering?
Bush Hammering consists of a series of small spiked rollers that when attached to our grinding equipment removes tiny particles off the top of the concrete which then develops into a roughened textured surface. These rollers repeatedly strike and impact the surface to create a suitable texture in both stone or concrete surfaces and will create a tough, weathered textured appearance. Unique natural stone variations will be exposed and enhanced as material is removed from the surface.
